People often ask us how we picked the name for our company. 

It’s pretty simple. 

We wanted something that conveys two things: hard work & humble beginnings.

We found it in “Railsplitter”, Abraham Lincoln’s first nickname. Long before he became a man lawyer, politician and ultimately President, Lincoln worked a soldier, postmaster, surveyor, tavern keeper and a rail splitter.

While we’ll never be even a fraction of the man Abe was, we do take pride in the fact that we have collectively worked just about every single job that can be found in a credit roll.  Intern, Van Driver, PA, AP, Writer, Cue Card Person, Cinematographer, Director, Executive Producer, Vice President of Development and Programming.  You name it and we’ve probably done it. 

Our experience as network executives and independent producers has allowed us to create nearly every type of content. From docuseries, sketch comedy and scripted to short form, feature docs and live (events, news and daily talk) we’ve made it all.

Our work has appeared on NBC, HBO, MTV, VH1, HISTORY, A&E, LIFETIME, TVLAND & ANIMAL PLANET as well as at seven international film festivals.
